Stanzas (1), (3), (4), and (6) of the poem was taken by the Hindus and became an unofficial national song in India. The poem starts off with the poet telling the importance of the country and saying that it’s our identity and so we can’t lose it or else we wouldn’t be known anywhere after that. He is known as the Spiritual father of Pakistan and the Pakistan Government had granted him the title of National Poet.
